Ophelia adores Boston and has lived in the region for nearly all her adult life. She's worked in Cambridge, hanging out at the Irish pubs and watching sculling on the Charles. I was a good book, had a few twist, and surprises!
Sven shows his true colors, Evan and Amanda get even closer. Jeff is still on a rampage and Kayla is still a fool
This is the third book in the Bermuda Nights series. In my opinion, this is the best book in the series so far. That is one reason I gave it four stars. One thing I love about this author is her strong female characters. In this case, it is Amanda. She comes to the rescue of her beloved Evan. I like the balance between both the female and male characters taking care of each other. The author impressed me with how she constructed a gentler romance scene to more deeply build the romantic connection between Amanda and Evan. I like her insights into how heroin is a soulless drug. Bliss for a few moments but no real feeling as compared to a loving relationship where you do really feel alive.
Of course, the book builds to another stunning cliffhanger in preparation for the final book. And I enjoyed her own take on a "Titanic" scene for erotica fans.
This is erotica with a good storyline. Definitely for adults. I am eager to read book 4.
Amanda did the only thing she could think of to keep her and Evan safe and together they've worked through it, Evan is guarding her every second but their problems are only just starting and it's difficult to see how they're going to get out of this.
Amanda is planning to disembark in Boston while Kayla is planning to stay onboard bar tending, Evan is sticking with the band but doesn't know if they've fully believed his story and Jeff, well Jeff is a wildcard it's difficult to predict exactly what he'll do.
This cruise is the stuff of nightmares and I'm now moving on to the next book 'Wanting All' which I believe is the last one.
This was great reading. Hope everyone enjoys it as much I did.
